Q: What is the normal process for roof cleaning?
A - This can vary slightly, depending on the type of roof and surrounding property. We are basically going to arrive and perform an assessment to see if anything on the ground needs to be covered or protected from runoff, and then we will determine our access points to the roof, extend ladders, and ascend with hoses and brushes. The cleaning typically takes between 3-5 hours, and at the most, you will experience some water dripping off of the roof that is similar to a light rain.

Q: Can all kinds of roofs be cleaned?
A - For the most part, yes. The most common types are asphalt shingle and silicone-coated. We are able to, and have cleaned, seam metal roofs, tile roofs, and aluminum shingles as well. Our crew has experience with almost every kind of roof out there, and knows how to clean them without damaging anything. We also use enviromentally safe cleaning agents.

Q: How often should I be cleaning my roof?
A - That can depend. If you live on the windward side of Oahu near the mountains, or in Manoa Valley, for example, you may have more frequent cleanings that someone who experiences less moisture. Approx. 1-2 times per year should be expected, but we can give you a more accurate assessment upon visiting your home.
